Why movement confidence matters more than most people realize

One of the last things to return after injury is often confidence.

Fear changes movement.

When you're worried about pain:

  • Movements become guarded

  • Muscles become tense

  • Activity levels decrease

Confidence is part of recovery.

The goal isn't just to move.

The goal is to trust your body again.

Building confidence takes practice.

Small successes help create larger ones.

Recovery is physical and psychological.

Both deserve attention.

If fear of movement is holding you back, physiotherapy can help you gradually rebuild trust in your body's abilities.
