Why Pain-Free Doesn't Always Mean Problem-Free
Pain is often the reason people seek help.
But pain isn't always the best measure of physical health.
Symptoms can disappear before the problem does.
It's possible to have:
Reduced pain
Improved comfort
Better day-to-day function
while still lacking strength, stability or mobility.
This is where mistakes happen:
Many people stop their rehab program as soon as pain improves.
Unfortunately, the factors that contributed to the problem may still be present.
Look beyond symptoms.
A more complete recovery considers:
Strength levels
Movement quality
Endurance
Confidence
Prevention starts before symptoms return.
The goal isn't simply eliminating pain.
It's building a body that's less likely to experience the same issue again.
If your pain has improved but you're unsure whether you're fully recovered, physiotherapy can help assess your readiness to return to normal activities.
